Alka-lac+ ® es la evolución de los antiácidos para la dietas Unifeed y dietas de cebo. Alka-lac+® es una mezcla de antiácidos y tampones melazada que vehicula las moléculas más potentes hasta el rumen para ayudar a reducir los procesos de acidosis ruminal *.
Gracias a su presentación como granulo melazado la palatabilidad es inmejorable evitándose la agresividad química de los antiácidos comúnes.
Alka-lac+ neutralizes excess acidity resulting from rapid fermentation of high concentrate rations and slug feeding. Everyday use of Alka-lac+, along with sound feeding practices, helps maintain an efficient rumen in addition to the cow’s ability to properly digest and absorb feed.
Alka-lac+ molasses coating delivers a product with superb palatability.
Unlike other products, Alka-lac+ can be feed “free choice”, without fear of bad taste and/or chemical aggressiveness, thus obtaining optimum results from animals’ self regulation: not only do they feed the amount of Alka-lac+ they need, but they also feed when they feel the need for it!

  Every day use of buffered antacids can help with:

- Milk production and fat content - up to 3.5% production increase, and 1 point in milk fat

- Feed Intake and efficiency - buffers can increase feed intake by 2%, and help in better bacterial digestions by keeping optimum rumen pH
 
- Adaptation to heat – ruminant feed intake and, therefore, milk production, can decrease in as much as 25% under heat stress. Buffers help combat heat stress
 
- Response to slug feeding - feeding buffers can help maintain rumen pH when cows are slug fed with grain in the milking parlor, or with acidic feeds such as corn silage
